Holden has announced it will make the most important change in Commodore's history by launching one of the most advanced V6 engines available in Australia.
New state-of-the-art Spark Ignition Direct Injection (SIDI) technology will be introduced on all petrol V6 models from September, promising fuel economy that not only outstrips any V6 in its class, but also beats some 4-cylinder cars. With impressive fuel economy figures starting at just 9.3L/100km1, it means car buyers can now enjoy the spaciousness, comfort and practicality of a true family-sized car while experiencing fuel bills normally seen on some smaller cars.
Holden's new SIDI engines will come with an all-new smooth six-speed automatic transmission as standard, offering new levels of refinement and performance.
